Product Overview
O-rings are circular gaskets designed to be seated in a groove and compressed between two or more parts thereby creating a seal at the interface. They eliminate leakage of gases. The O-ring is made of Butyl Rubber which is an elastomer compound. It is also known as Isobutylene-isoprene synthetic elastomer. It has good air retention property and is flexible. It resists gas and moisture permeability. The properties of compound make O-ring function at inner tubes and high pressure and at varying conditions. The O-ring is used in conjunction with pneumatic hose connector to affect air seals at mating junctions of air hose to blood pressure cuffs and monitors. It is highly reliable, durable and efficient in performance.
