Product Overview
The 1.5T Head T/R Assembly MG2 A16 A5 is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems and other demanding applications. An assembly consists of a power supply, resistors, capacitors, inductors, PIN diode, RF switch, screws, label and other accessories. This assembly is located inside the trolley towards the front side. It provides an RF switch between the MR coil, the RF amplifier and the pre-amplifier. A PIN diode is a bipolar diode device specially designed for RF antenna switching applications for receive-transmit and requires no special handling. The PIN diode switches are used to change status between the two possible modes. The DC bias can be done when using a network analyzer that allows both ports to be calibrated simultaneously. All parts are packaged carefully and supported in a secured way which will prevent damage to the body or bending of the leads during shipment.
