Product Overview
The Cable - PCI Express on HDMI is a connector used in ultrasound applications and other electrical devices. HDMI technology transmits high quality digital videos, multi-channel surround audios and advanced controls data through a single cable. The cable is constructed per high definition multimedia interface specification 1.2. The cable is RoHS compliant as per 5240305GSP. The cable is comprised of (4) individually shielded 28AWG twisted pair (shield consists of Al-Mylar with drain), (1) 30 AWG pair, (5) 28 AWG conductors and overall shield consisting of Al-Mylar plus 85% min copper braid. The construction is UL AWM style 20276 80C, 30V, VW-1. HDMI-connected components have the ability to query each other’s capabilities and automatically adjust themselves for optimal viewing. In the computer architecture, there is a structural part known as Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI). It helps to connect the sound, video and network cards to the motherboard. PCI Express is the advanced version of PCI which provides more bandwidth and is compatible with existing operating systems. PCI express is a serial connection that operates more like a network, that handles data from multiple sources. All the items are approved by GE ultrasound engineering.
