Product Overview
The Shock Mount – Hard Drive is the spare part of the Back End Processor (BEP), which is used in the Vivid E9 ultrasound scanner. It is made up of thermoplastic elastomer. The Vivid E9 ultrasound unit is a high performance digital ultrasound imaging system with total data management. It provides image generation in 4D, 2D (B) mode, color doppler, power doppler (Angio), M mode, color M - mode, PW and CW doppler spectra, tissue velocity imaging, advanced strain and contrast applications. The fully digital architecture of the Vivid E9 unit allows optimal usage of all scanning modes and probe types, throughout the full spectrum of operating frequencies. The Vivid E9 is a digital beamforming system. The signal flow travels from the probe connector panel to the front end electronics, then to the back end processor, and finally, the results are displayed on the monitor. The system configuration is stored on the hard drive, in the back end processor, and all necessary software loads from the hard drive to power up. A Physio module, the patient I/O, is incorporated in the back end processor to provide ECG signals to synchronize cardiac ultrasound image acquisition and the other analog signals, from devices such as treadmills (ECG and Phono), that also be processed by the patient I/O.
